PLA-B (Splat)

This is the perfect filament for printing an airless basketball! I used the print profile on Bamboo handy and it printed perfect! It bounces pretty much equivalent to a normal ball. And it hasn’t cracked or been destroyed yet. It’s totally worth the money!

Didn't have high hopes for a great bounce. Used this to print the 2 airless footballs with a nozzle temp of 230c bed temp 50c. First using a 0.4 nozzle 0.2 layer height. Finish was very nice. Supports came off relatively easily. Bounce was decent. Throws and flies very nicely. Next I printed same temps but with a 0.6 nozzle 0.28 layer height. Finish was still very nice. Supports broke away even easier. Throws and flies nicely. The bounce is definitely superior. Old football coach father in law was very impressed. It bounces almost exactly like the real thing. Basketball next

Printed a basketball! It bounced. It did not crack., The printed basketball bounces but not as well is I had originally thought, or hoped. Still great stuff!

Pretty good my tennis ball is very awesome the basketball bounces but not as well is I had originally thought still awesome filament and very fun also if you have an ender 3 be aware can’t print full size because of bed size but very awesome still
